The
6th Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival will be held at the George Square
Lecture Theatre at Edinburgh University, 17-19 October 2008. Please
note that this is NOT anywhere near George Street! It is at George Square,
Edinburgh University in Newington. |

This
is a city centre location so public transport serves the area well - please
use it! Or better still, walk! The following Lothian Buses go to George Square: 2, 23, 27, 41, 42, 45, N27 In addition, the following Lothian Buses go to Nicolson Street, just a couple of minutes walk from George Square: 2, 3, 3A, 5, 7, 8, 14, 29, 30, 31, X31, 33, 37, 37A, X37, 42, X47, 49, N30, N33 & N37. If you must come by car, however, on-street parking is available in the surrounding area. Please note, however, that the large NCP car park formerly located next to George Square is now closed as a new university building is being sited there. Which is another reason to walk or use public transport to travel to the festival! |
