For regular attendees of the EMFF, Niall will be a familiar face, having appeared on screen in some way or other at every EMFF to date. From comedy cameo stints to serious sea cliff excursions, Niall's appearances have either amused or appalled in equal measures.

In 'Deft Moves' we will find out about the man behind these personas and in particular what climbing means to him.

Niall's name has become synomonous with high level onsighting (climbing a route on the first attempt without any falls) in the UK with routes up to E7 and 8a+ abroad.

In an era of pre-practiced and rehearsed cutting edge rock routes, Niall will explain why his old fashioned approach holds the most appeal and interest for him.

Expect to hear about eagles, broken hearing-aids, getting pumped and, er, being collared by the local bobbies…
