The festival is not just about the lectures and the films. It is a gathering of the climbing, skiing and boarding, kayaking and adventure sports communities, and a great social event. Unfortunately, there will not be an official EMFF party this year. However, there are lots of great pubs and clubs in the area, so please use the festival as a chance to catch up with friends and make plans for your next adventure together! You can also catch up with your friends in the Bothy Bar (on site) or with drinks at nearby The Pear Tree, on West Nicolson Street, the informal social centre of the festival. The Pear Tree is a great place to hang out between shows.
